Manila Water Co. to expand supply to Morong & Teresa

19 Feb

Manila Water Co. Inc. will spend as much as P2.4 billion to build more reservoirs to meet the increasing water demand and ensure reliable supply to Antipolo City.

Manila Water, which owns the concession to supply the eastern zone of Metro Manila, recently completed the construction of the 20-million liter Maguey reservoir in Antipolo City to increase the capacity of the Lukban pumping station by an additional 20 million liters.

The increase will almost double the reservoir volume of Lukban. The Maguey reservoir once fully operational will benefit new customers from the highly- elevated Poblacion area and allow Manila Water to expand supply to Teresa and Morong towns in Rizal.
